You can call us on 02033725291 to sign up for any of the services we offer or complete our online contractor enquiry form. Once this is done, we’ll get in touch to complete the sign up process which will only take a few minutes.
2. Is We Pay It fully compliant with HMRC?
Yes, we are fully compliant with HMRC legislation. We also keep up to date with new HMRC legislations and guidance.
3. Will there be an agreement with my agency?
Yes, there will be an agreement with us and your agency once you have signed up with us. We will then contact your agency to let them know you have signed up. And we will enter into an agreement with your agency to be your umbrella payroll provider, and each party will sign a contract.
4. What happens next after I have signed up with We Pay It?
Once you have signed up with us, you will receive a welcome email. The email will explain the next steps in the onboarding process for our service to ensure you are properly set up to get paid and clarify that you understand the payroll process.
5. When I can complete and submit my timesheets?
When you are working for your end-client, you will need to complete timesheets to reflect the hours you have worked. This may be done on a weekly or monthly basis, depending on your payment frequency.
6. Can I send my timesheets to my agency?
Yes, you can send your timesheets to your agency. Once you have filled out your timesheets, send them to your agency so that your end-client can sign it off. If your agency or end-client has agreed to reimburse any expenses during work, remember to forward these to your agency for approval as well.
7. When do you invoice my agency for payment?
We will invoice your agency for payment once you have sent us your signed timesheets and your timesheets have, we will invoice your recruitment agency for payment. We will also invoice them for any expenses you are claiming that have been agreed by your agency.
8. Do you get paid directly by my end-client?
No, we do not get paid by your end-client. Your recruitment agency will arrange payment in accordance with the terms and conditions stated in the assignment details. The agency will send funds – your wages for hours worked and reimbursed expenses – directly to us.
9. Do I have to deduct my own taxes and pay them to HMRC?
No, you do not have to deduct your own taxes and pay them to HMRC. We will process the payment from your recruitment agency, making the relevant deductions in accordance with HMRC legislation and guidance and pay your taxes, including income tax, National Insurance and Apprenticeship Levy contributions, on your behalf to HMRC. You can contact us for more details on deductions.
10. How do I get paid?
You will get paid once we have processed the payment from your recruitment agency, your net pay will be paid to your personal account by We Pay It after the funds are received from your agency and relevant deductions are made. Your payslip will also be available on our secure online portal.
